Wheat DDGS
Wheat DDGS (Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles) is produced during the fermentation and distillation of wheat for ethanol production. The remaining grain fractions are combined with condensed solubles and dried to create a concentrated feed material.
Wheat DDGS can be incorporated into compound feeds and farm rations as a source of plant protein, fibre and energy. It can replace part of other protein and cereal ingredients when the formulation is balanced according to the product’s nutrient profile.
Nutritional benefits
Combines protein and fibre with energy from residual fat and carbohydrates. Nutrient composition and feeding value vary between production plants, so inclusion levels should be based on the supplied specification and the animals’ requirements.
