Potato Starch
Potato starch is separated from potatoes and dried to produce a fine powder. It provides a non-cereal carbohydrate source for feed formulations.
Nutritional and functional value
Contributes starch to the diet. Under suitable heating and moisture conditions, starch gelatinisation can support binding, thickening and product structure. Performance depends on the supplied grade, recipe and processing conditions.
Application
Dry and wet pet food, treats and specialised animal feeds. The appropriate grade should be selected for the intended process.
