Pea Starch

Pea Starch is supplied as a fine, creamy to creamy-yellow powder with a characteristic pea odour. Its specified composition includes 50–75% starch and 12–17% protein.

This grade combines a starch source with a contribution of pea protein. It can be incorporated into balanced formulations where both carbohydrate and protein content are considered.

Nutritional and functional value
Provides starch as a dietary energy source, together with residual plant protein. During suitable thermal processing, its starch fraction may contribute to binding and product structure. Performance should be assessed in the intended recipe and process.
